Portablebit Unipessoal, Lda. provides AI advisory, consulting, mentoring, and training services for businesses. Available plans and their details can be found on the Services page. The in-person Practical AI Workshop is provided separately by Miguel Cabrita as a self-employed professional.

Unless a price is expressly shown as a final amount, prices for Portablebit services exclude VAT, which will be applied where applicable. Subscription plans are billed monthly and processed securely via Stripe. You may cancel your subscription at any time. No partial refunds are issued for the remaining period of a billing cycle.

One-time consultations are individually booked. Cancellations must be made at least 24 hours in advance. Failure to cancel within this period may result in the consultation being charged in full.

The Practical AI Workshop is a full-day, in-person workshop contracted with and delivered by Miguel Cabrita, a self-employed professional, through miguel@miguelcabrita.com. Portablebit Unipessoal, Lda. is neither the provider nor the invoice issuer for these editions.

The commercial model has two stages: (1) interest / application when no date or location is confirmed yet; (2) registration for a concrete edition only after an invite, when date, time, location, and price are set. Date and location are coordinated with a viable group of qualified applicants and only then opened for registration.

Interest / application

• The interest form distinguishes the contact person from the likely participant and collects professional context, region and availability, basic readiness, initiatives, and the submitter’s contact preferences. It does not reserve a seat, accept payment, or require billing details or acceptance of commercial terms for a concrete edition.
• Miguel reviews fit and looks for a compatible group of 4 to 6 people. An invite to register is sent only when a concrete edition proposal exists.

Registration and payment for a concrete edition

• Each registration is for one participant and the professional context entered on the registration form (individual, pair, or group under the published conditions).
• Payment is made in advance through the edition payment link (Revolut Pro) or by bank transfer to the professional account provided.
• Submitting the form and proof of payment does not automatically confirm the seat. The seat is confirmed after Miguel verifies that payment was received.
• Each edition runs with a minimum of four (4) and a maximum of six (6) participants.
• Miguel Cabrita issues the invoice after payment is confirmed, using the billing details on the registration form.
• The workshop fee does not include lunch, third-party AI tool subscriptions or usage, follow-up support, custom development, legal audit, or compliance validation.

Prerequisites and responsibilities

• The format assumes basic experience with an AI assistant and an active paid subscription with working access on the participant's laptop.
• The participant is responsible for confirming they may use the data, documents, and accounts they bring; sensitive data should be anonymised unless an approved business account and policy already exist.
• By 3 business days before the date, the participant must confirm logins, documents, and required permissions.
• Active full-day participation is required. Companions only by prior agreement.

Cancellations, transfers, and edition changes

• Once registered for a concrete edition, you may cancel up to seven (7) calendar days before the workshop date and receive a full refund.
• After that deadline, no refund is due, but you may transfer your seat once to another eligible participant or to a future edition we offer.
• If the operational minimum is not met, the edition may be rescheduled. You will be notified in advance and may keep your seat, transfer, or request a full refund.
• Cancellation and transfer requests must be sent to miguel@miguelcabrita.com and are effective once confirmed in writing.

AI implementation projects are individually quoted based on scope and requirements. Each project is governed by a separate written proposal and/or contract agreed upon by both parties before work begins.

The competent court for any disputes is the Tribunal de Coimbra.

EU consumers may also use the Online Dispute Resolution (ODR) platform at https://ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr.
